    Abstract
Articulating a comprehensive understanding of existing photographs of built architectural features can provide every architect with a rich visual data base containing all traits of intrinsic essence of architecture that would be a profound resource for him/her in creation of his/her own works in the future. Such a vision can be best attained by acquiring graphic softwares such as Adobe Photoshop during the whole process of image manipulation. This study introduces a variety of applied techniques relating each to a specific spatial concept. Desaturation, elimination of ornaments and minor elements, bolding access lines and recognition of different atmospheres are examples of mentioned spatial concepts.
